This Easter, supermarket giant Morrisons has joined forces with cereal brand Kellogg’s to offer free breakfasts to families across the UK. The initiative is aimed at helping ease the financial pressure many households feel during school holidays, when regular school meal programs aren't available.
From April 7 to April 27, 2025, customers visiting any of the 396 Morrisons cafés nationwide can ask for a “Kellogg’s Breakfast” and receive a free meal—no purchase necessary. The breakfast includes a bowl of Kellogg’s cereal, such as Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, or Coco Pops, served with a choice of dairy or non-dairy milk. Families can also choose a piece of fruit like a banana, apple, or orange to round out the meal.
The offer is available while supplies last and is part of a broader effort to tackle holiday hunger.
According to research by Kellanova (Kellogg’s), around 42% of parents worry about being able to feed their children during the holidays. This initiative aims to ease that burden by making sure kids can start their day with a nutritious breakfast.
Morrisons is also continuing its popular “Kids Eat Free” offer, where children under 16 can get a free meal with the purchase of any adult meal costing £5 or more. This promotion runs daily in all Morrisons cafés.
This partnership is just one of several recent efforts by Morrisons to support families through difficult times. Previous initiatives have included campaigns like “Ask for Henry” with Heinz, offering free jacket potatoes with beans, and “Ask for Ellen,” which provided free crumpets in cafés.
